Advertising campaigns

Flokee manages your Google Ads campaigns automatically

This section covers how to manage and optimise your advertising campaigns through Flokee.

Campaign status

Active, paused and inactive campaigns

Your campaigns can be in one of several states:

  • Active: running, and showing ads to potential customers
  • Paused: you have stopped the campaign for now, and can restart it whenever you want
  • Inactive: campaigns that are not running because of a technical or configuration problem

You can change a campaign's state directly from the dashboard.

Spend

This section shows you:

  • Your daily and monthly budget
  • What you have spent to date
  • How the spend is split across the different ad types
  • Spend forecasts based on current performance

Products in the campaign

See which products are actively being promoted:

  • The full list of products included in your campaigns
  • Their approval status in Google Merchant Center
  • Individual performance (impressions, clicks, conversions)
  • Spend per product

Optimising your ads

Boosting products

Flokee lets you push specific products harder:

  1. Select the products you want to boost
  2. Choose the priority level (Normal, High, Maximum)
  3. Set how long the boost should run
  4. Watch how the boost performs

It is ideal for seasonal products, special offers or clearing stock.

Tracking performance

Follow how your campaigns are doing with detailed metrics:

  • CTR (click-through rate): the percentage of people who click your ads
  • Conversion rate: the percentage of clicks that turn into sales
  • CPC (cost per click): what you pay for each click on your ads
  • CAC (customer acquisition cost): what it costs you to win one customer

Flokee optimises your campaigns automatically against these metrics to get your ROAS as high as it can.

How do Google Ads campaigns work?

When you activate Flokee, the platform sets up and manages your Google Ads campaigns automatically, with one goal: putting your store's products in front of people who are actively looking for them.

The ad types used

Your ads can appear in:

  • Google search results
  • Google Shopping
  • Gmail
  • YouTube
  • Partner sites (the display network)

Flokee creates and manages these campaigns for you.

Integration with the Google ecosystem

For a campaign to work properly, Flokee connects and manages several accounts:

  • Google Ads: where the ads are created and managed.
  • Google Merchant Center: where the products are uploaded and validated.
  • Google Analytics: for analysing how visitors behave.
  • Google Tag Manager: for measuring conversions and traffic in detail.

Flokee creates and connects these accounts automatically if they are not set up already.

The learning phase

When a new campaign goes live, Google enters a learning period (4-6 weeks) while it works out the targeting and the bids. Results normally take a while to settle, and we recommend keeping a campaign running for at least 2 months to get stable data.

During this phase, Google:

  • Shows your ads to different kinds of people
  • Analyses which clicks produce the best results
  • Adjusts the bids automatically
  • Optimises visibility against your budget

Flokee automates the whole process of setup, monitoring and optimisation: prioritising the products with the most potential, managing the daily budget, and adapting the strategy to what is actually performing.

Can I change the campaign settings in Flokee?

Flokee automates most of managing and optimising campaigns. You can still:

  • Choose products to boost
  • Adjust your budget
  • Review and improve your product information (titles, images, prices)

You do not need to configure campaigns, targeting or bids by hand - Flokee does that automatically to get the best results it can.

What happens once the campaign is live?

After a Google Ads campaign goes live with Flokee:

  • Performance monitoring: the key metrics - clicks, impressions, CTR and conversions - are reviewed to judge how the campaign is doing.
  • Data analysis: the dashboard data is analysed for patterns and trends, such as products that attract visits but no sales.
  • Real-time adjustments: depending on performance, the strategy can be adjusted - changing the targeting, or trying different offers.
  • Optimisation with Google's AI: Google's own AI helps optimise campaigns automatically, adjusting bids and sharpening the targeting to reach the most relevant audience.
  • Continuous optimisation: the campaign keeps improving through A/B tests of the ads and reviews of keywords and settings.

Together these let the campaign adapt to the market and get the most out of your investment.

What kinds of ads does Flokee use?

Flokee optimises your campaigns to get the most reach and performance across several Google platforms from a single ad. The ad types Flokee covers are:

  • Search ads: your products appear in Google search results when people search for terms related to your products or your store.
  • Display ads: images and text that highlight your products on websites and apps across Google's network.
  • Video ads: show your products visually, and attractively, on YouTube.
  • Gmail ads: reach people directly in their inbox with featured ads.
  • Shopping ads: show your products with images, prices and links right in the Google search results.
  • Discovery ads: a personalised visual experience on platforms like Google Discover, YouTube and Gmail.

How do I know my Flokee campaign is live?

To check the state of your campaign, just open the dashboard at app.flokee.ai - everything you need is there. The initial setup of an active plan finishes within a few minutes. Once your campaign is configured correctly, Google handles verification and approval, which can take up to 5 days. When your campaign is approved and ready to start, you will get an email.
